Nani reacts to comparisons between HIT: The Third Case and films like Animal and Kill, saying the thriller has its own cinematic style. HIT 3 releases on May 1, 2025.

The highly anticipated trailer of HIT: The Third Case has officially dropped, sparking major buzz among moviegoers. Featuring Nani in a gritty new avatar as Arjun Sarkaar, the trailer quickly drew comparisons with other intense action thrillers like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Unni Mukundan’s Marco, and the high-octane Hindi film Kill. However, Nani was quick to address these comparisons and clarify that HIT 3 is in a league of its own.

HIT 3 Has Its Own Identity, Says Nani

Speaking at the trailer launch event held in Hyderabad on April 14, Nani said,

“I don’t think HIT 3 should be compared to Animal, Kill, or Marco. It follows its own cinematic language and grammar. Once audiences see the full film, everything—including the violence—will feel justified and organic.”

He emphasized that HIT 3 stands apart due to its strong emotional core, which gives weight to its action-packed moments.

“When there’s deep emotion behind the scenes, even the violence blends seamlessly. SS Rajamouli sir does that perfectly—what may appear violent in a trailer becomes essential to the story when you watch the entire film,” Nani explained.

Viral Dialogue Connects with Fans

One particular moment from the trailer has already gone viral. When a character tells Arjun Sarkaar, “You can’t survive here,” Nani’s retort—“I’ve been hearing this since the beginning of my career”—struck a chord with fans. Many interpreted this line as a powerful reflection of Nani’s own journey in the film industry, where he carved his path as an outsider without a filmy background.

Story, Cast, and Crew Details

Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Third Case continues the successful HIT Universe and promises a dark, thrilling ride. The story revolves around the kidnapping of a nine-month-old baby, with Arjun Sarkaar stepping in to crack the case. The trailer teases a gripping narrative filled with suspense, emotional intensity, and stylish action.
