Indian Stock Market to Remain Shut on Monday and Friday | Market Weekly Outlook

Indian stock markets are set for a shortened trading week, as both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on Monday, April 14 for Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti and again on Friday, April 18 for Good Friday.

This leaves only three trading sessions in the week aheadβ€”Tuesday (April 15), Wednesday (April 16), and Thursday (April 17). Investors are advised to plan their trades accordingly.

The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also follow a partial holiday schedule. On April 14, MCX will be closed for the morning session but will reopen at 5 PM for the evening session. However, it will remain fully closed on April 18.
